For Lack of a Better Word... - How much would it suck if you asked for a 13... but the tattoo artist drew a 31?

Jul. 29th, 2005 06:36 pm How much would it suck if you asked for a 13... but the tattoo artist drew a 31?

He may not have a clue
And he may not have style
But everything he lacks
Well he makes up in denial

*Sigh*

Yesterday was fairly eventful, and it left me with a headache that I still have and can't seem to get rid of. Max had his Act One play yesterday. Zorro, the musical! Good times. Actually, it was pretty cute, although I don't know how Mrs. Kline and the student volunteers (Zack, Eric, Megan, Ellery, many others...) stayed sane for 6 weeks with so many little brats adorable young kids. The cast party alone (at Luigi's) was enough to leave me running for the door. Terrifying, I tell you. Simply terrifying. So. Michelle and I went to Kari's for a little while after that but everyone had to leave by 11, so Jackie dropped me off at Dana's to see Rich before he left at 5am this morning. He's in WI now for the whole weekend. :( Dana, Rich, and I had a bonfire in the backyard. It was kinda neat not having Justin or Will around (no offense to either of them!) because usually they all come as a packaged deal. I really like Dana a lot. The rest of the guys are cool, too, but Dana is by far the one I trust the most of that group. Anyway. By the end of the night, I was ready to just crash. Got up fairly early (9:45 by my definition is early!!) this morning, for no apparent reason. Mom went to the grille and brought back lunch (bacon cheeseburger! score for me!) at 11, which seemed way too early to eat, but oh well. Twas quite good. Mom and the kids are gone for today and tomorrow now, off on some camping trip with the 4-H'ers. That means I'm all alone with my dad. He tried to get me to translate some Spanish letters and emails he has, and I looked him in the face and said, "Not until you pay me for the job interviews I did for the grille." I would do the letters for free if he asked nicely, but I was told that I would get an hourly rate for the translation service a few weeks ago. Have I seen that money yet? Nope. Somehow I don't think I ever will. I'm tired of being used, so there's no way I'm going to volunteer to make his life easier when he can't even fufil his word. So whatever, his loss. Talked to Claire for a looooong time today, while both of us happened to be doing laundry. Heh. Good times. ;)She mentioned tattoos, so now I have been thinking about tattoos all day. I don't like needles, so therefore I will probably never have a tattoo. Ever. But still. Now they are on my mind. Lalala... lets see... what else? I'm listening to random music right now. Kari inspired me last night with that old middle school mixed cd. Random is such a great word.
